Combined with sample thickness measurement via magnetic encoders, the system automatically calculates the optimal polishing position, eliminating time-consuming manual alignment and ensuring repeatable polishing conditions for consistent results.
6. The polishing angle is continuously adjustable from 0° to +10°, accommodating cross-section angle and depth preparation requirements of diverse samples. Both flat cross-sections and slightly inclined cross-sections can be fabricated on a single unit.
7. In-situ real-time observation and recording of the entire polishing process are supported. Operators can monitor cross-section progress during processing to avoid over-polishing or incomplete milling caused by delayed feedback, and key process steps can be traced and reviewed for analysis.
